Colestid Description 

Colestid (Colestipol) is a prescription medication used for lowering bad cholesterol called low-density lipoprotein (LDL). Lowering bad cholesterol in the blood may reduce the risk of atherosclerosis or hardened arteries and prevent stroke, heart attacks, and circulation problems.
