It is recommended you consult with your doctor before using Alupent if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, a seizure disorder, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or liver or kidney disease.
Any circumstances that can trigger an asthma attack are dangerous when taking Alupent. Do your best to avoid these situations.
Patient Family Information : Take Alupent as prescribed to you by your health care professional, or as directed to on the label. Take each tablet with a full glass of water. To be certain you are getting the correct amount of Alupent, when taking the liquid version of this medication use a special measuring spoon. If you have been prescribed more than a dose at a time wait at least a minute between each dose. When using the inhaler follow the instructions provided.
If you have any allergies to any of the ingredients listed on the label do not take this medication.
