Storage

Precautions

Patient Family Information

• Generally, Rhinocort Aqua Nasal Spray (Budesonide) will come with an instruction guide for patients to ensure safety.
• The regular dose of Rhinocort Aqua Nasal Spray (Budesonide) is 1-4 sprays in each nostril one a day.
• Before the first use of the spray prime the spray pump by shaking and spraying 8 test sprays into the air away from your face.
• Prime the spray pump any time you have not used Rhinocort for more than 2 days.
• Shake the bottle before each use.

Contraindication

• Let your doctor know:
  1. If you have been sick, have had an infection of any kind
  2. If you have liver disease, glaucoma, cataracts, herpes simplex infection of the eye,

Less serious side effects include:

• Dry or sore throat
• Cough
• Irritation in your nose
• Pain, swelling, burning, itching, or irritation in your throat
• Sores or white patches inside or around your nose
