WHAT IS COUMADIN?
Coumadin (Warfarin) is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of drugs called anticoagulants. It is a blood thinner that helps treat and prevent the development of blood clots in your body. It helps to keep the blood flowing smoothly in your body to avoid strokes and heart attacks.
