Combipatch (Estradiol/Norethindrone) is a prescription medication that helps with the treatment of symptoms of menopause. It is a combination of estradiol, a form of estrogen, and norethindrone, a form of progesterone. Combipatch Dose
Act in accordance with your healthcare provider’s directions concerning the prescribed dose for your medical condition. Combipatch comes in one dosage form, an extended-release patch, and two dosage strengths, which are Combipatch 0.05mg/0.25mg per 24 hours, and Combipatch 0.05mg/0.14mg per 24 hours.
For the treatment of vasomotor symptoms caused by menopause, apply one patch on your lower stomach below the waistline. Make sure to apply the medical patch on clean, dry, and smooth skin.
For a Combipatch alternative regimen, use one patch (0.05mg per day) for day 1 – 14, and must be replaced twice a week, then one patch on day 15 – 28, which also must be replaced twice a week.
In case you missed a dose of this medication, take the medication patch as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose for your condition, skip the missed dose and take the next one. Don’t take a double dose of Combipatch to make up for the missed dosage.
